1. CALL TO APPEAR FOR INTERVIEWS

Sokoine University of Agriculture wishes to inform the following candidates who applied for various positions in different departments to appear for interviews to be held on the dates and time stated below. Apart from appearing before an Interview panel, the interview shall also include a Public Presentation in the area/discipline of specialization one has applied and a written Language English Proficiency Test.

NOTE:- Candidates should report to the Head of the respective Department. All candidates should come with original certificates, transcripts and other testimonials during the interview. For those who did not study in Tanzania make sure you come with letters of certification /verification from TCU. All costs related to the individua/ candidate attending the Interview will be covered by the individual/ candidate.

2. JOB OPPORTUNITIES RE-ADVERTISEMENT

The Management of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for positions of Tutorial Assistants (TA’s) (<35 yrs of age) and Assistant Lecturers (<45 years). Applicants are advised to note that the minimum GPA of 3.8 or an average of B for unclassified degrees such as that of Veterinary and Medical graduates at undergraduate level applies for TA’s and 3.5 at BSc/BA level or equivalent (i.e. an average of B for Veterinary and Medical graduates) and a good Masters degree with a GPA of 3.8 is applicable for those with postgraduate qualifications. Only registered Veterinarians will be considered for interviews. Due to procedural technicalities the following positions had to be re-advertised. Applicants are advised to note that salary packages and fringe benefits shall be as per Treasury Registrar’s Salaries Circular No. 3 of 2013.
