An aggressive form of HIV’ discovered in Cuba

In a new research researchers have discovered a new form of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which develops into a full blown AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) in three years in Cuba. The researchers also mentioned, the progress of the virus is so fast that the anti-retroviral medicine doesn’t seem to work.
One of the researchers Anne-Mieke Vandamme, a medical professor at Belgium’s University of Leuvan said, she was informed about the aggressive form of AIDS by her Cuban counterparts and was asked for her help to find the facts behind the scene. In a statement she said, “We have a collaborative project with Cuba and the Cuban clinicians had noticed that they recently had more and more patients who were progressing much faster to AIDS than they were used to [seeing].

ELEPHANT LOSSES IN TANZANIA: OUR BRAINS MUST BE STAGNANT

I have asked myself very many questions which remain without answers!

Do we really need someone from abroad to tell us what is right and what is not right in this?
Do we require PhDs to understand who does such crimes?
Do we have to pretend protecting these animals by killing innocent people living around the reserve areas in the name of eradicating poaching?
Why are we being fooled by politics?
Indeed even the future generation will lough at us!!

POOR HYGIENE IN MARKETS AND HEALTH CONSEQUENCES

Local food markets have become important sources of affordable food for millions of people living in urban areas. At the same time, such markets have been associated with major outbreaks of diseases such as cholera, typhoid to mention a few. This is due to the fact that food can transmit disease from  person to person as well as serve as a growth medium for bacteria and other infectious micro-organisms that can cause food poisoning.

The most common sensory evaluation conducted is a subjective test (consumer preference test). This is widely used by food industries when launching a new food product in the market. The consumer preference test should be conducted to assure the overall acceptability of the food product to the consumers.
