MAZIMBU WEATHER STATION CATER FOR THE ONE OF THE MOST WEATHER FORECASTING

MAZIMBU WEATHER STATION CATER FOR THE ONE OF THE MOST WEATHER FORECASTING:
A daily weather forecast involves the work of thousands of observers and meteorologists all over the world, and the work of thousands of machines. Forecasters use the observations from ground and space, along with formulas and rules based on experience of what has happened in the past, and then make their forecast. In Tanzania there are a number of weather stations across the nation state in each region. Sokoine University of agriculture weather station is among those weather station available and it is located at Mazimbu Campus,
it is said to be the greatest weather station in Morogoro region. Thus this weather use several methods in forecasting such as Persistence Forecasting, Synoptic Forecasting, Statistical Forecasting and Computer forecasting.

Persistence Forecasting:
This assumes that what the weather is doing now is what it will continue to do. Perhaps it is the most popular method applied in weather forecasting particularly at Sokoine university Weather station. To find out what the weather is doing, meteorologists make weather observations through use of the following apparatus.

A thermometer measures temperature.

A rain gauge measures precipitation.

An wind-vane measures wind speed.

Mazimbu weather station when working on regular basis.

Therefore, meteorologists all over the world observe clouds and precipitation, and relay that information and their measurements to other meteorologists throughout the world so we can know how the weather is changing from place to place and this is how Mazimbu weather station Meteorologists plot their observations on a weather map every hour to see how fast the weather is changing, then forecast where those changes will occur next methods, forecasters come up with their "best guess" as to what weather conditions will be over the next few days.
