intoduction

        Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is among the university found in Morogoro municipal. It has two campuses Main campus and Mazimbu campus whereby all the campuses allocated in Morogoro Municipal. The university offer science and social science studies, despite of offering various studies, the university also supports entertainments like games and sports. Sports are very important for health mind and body but also for expanding social networks where by people can share different ideologies and experience hence expand their knowledge. Youth know the importance
of sports but many claim to do not have time. It is important for human being to do exercise even once in a day because it helps to activate brain and make them to be physically fit. Also sports help a lot in stress free and reduce the chance to engage in evil things like crimes, prostitution and unprotected sex.

Few students engage in sports like football, basketball, jogging, netball and volleyball. Among the reason of making the student not to engage in sports are laziness, poor timetable structure, lack of enough equipment for sport, traditions and culture of doing sports, More commitment to the studies and a lot of take home assignment led to colleagues to do not have ample time for sport. Most collegue who are engage in sport activities are men compare to women and this led by laziness, poor motivation and poor beliefs that sports is only for men. The few women who engage in sport are doing volleyball compared to netball.

Apart of having few colleagues who engage in sport but still enable to win many competition which

they attend, and this is because of having best prayers and competent trainees who motivate and train well the prayers. The university also support the sports by having special budget for sports and games also the SUASO (Sokoine University of agriculture student organization) have the ministry of sport and games which deal with sports in the university.  The presence of large space area for sport is among the factors that motivate many boys to engage in sports but for women t here is poor sport area like netball ground is not conducive.

Sokoine University of agriculture made friendly sports and games with other university in Morogoro municipal like Mzumbe and Jordan university and make the collegue to have large social networking which help them in future. SUA engages in different sport competition like inter collage competition, and inter faculty competition. Through their engagement there some awards they got like best university champions.
