MAZIMBU CAMPUS FOOD SERVICE

 In Mazimbu campus there are many cafeterias that provide food and beverages services to university students, lecturers, other university workers and other people surrounding the university environments. Despite the presence of many cafeterias at Mazimbu campus still there is a big problem of long queue during lunch and dinner delivery time to some of cafeterias, this is due to unequal distribution of customers which is attributed by differences in service provision based on quality and
quantity of food, infrastructures and surroundings and the numbers of waiters and waitress.

Long queue and high congestion in cafeterias with good food quality and large quantity

Customer’s/student’s comments about quality of food services in different cafeterias

                               I.            It is time consuming to eat from cafeterias with long queue, so some customers avoid going to some of cafeterias to save time

                            II.            Some students only consider the quantity of food and ignore about food quality so they keep on attending the cafeteria with low food quality but large quantity

                         III.        Some customers/ students would like to eat cafeterias near their hostels and study venues so they don’t bother about quality of food service.

This is one of the cafeteria with unsatisfactory condition.
