Speaking to journalists today at the offices of the Commission, the Executive Secretary of the Tanzania Commission for Universities, Prof. Yunus Mgaya said due to the shortcomings identified by the Commission which is the quality of the educational problems and violations of rules of operation of the University as specified by this Law Universities has led the Commission to take steps to cancel the registration of those institutions.

 "Due to the previously Identified we want to inform the public That the Commission is satisfied That These two Universities do not Provide an educational affiliate of the university's Standards and wConsidering deserving Students in These Colleges are the most vulnerable to existing problems" said Prof Mgaya.

"I would like to clarify that we yovifutia Universities affiliate registration is a branch of Songea and other affiliate colleges of St. Joseph existing Dar es Salaam and Arusha will continue to operate as usual" said Prof Mgaya.
